Regardless, I really like it. Ten years from now I do not want to look back and see I am the same person I am today.
I want to be better. Here are my some of my favorite people, books and podcasts.
My Family
My husband, Tom, and I met in college. We have been married 20+ years. We have two children; a high school daughter and a junior high son. Our family really likes making, building and tinkering with things. We also enjoy traveling, art, cooking and exploring.
This is a special photo, because little did we know, my dad would pass away later the same year.
My parents loved to travel and spent a lot of time on the road. I am happy to report that my mother is still traveling and especially enjoys our daughter coming along for summer trips. She is an avid reader and that has rubbed off on both of us.
We are very fortunate to live near the Art Institute of Chicago. Our children really enjoy the modern wing. We recently had a fun department team building event here where we split into teams and had to find certain pieces of art - and text proof to the other team. It was a great few hours getting to know new staff and actually burn some calories racing through the Art Institute.
